Steps to make Chayote/ chow chow fry:
  1. Take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds and urad dhal, then add chana dhal. Add onions and garlic cloves, green chillies finely chopped. Fry it till it's cooked.
  2. You can pressure cook the chopped chow chow for 2 whistles or boil in a pan separately for 15 min. Add the boiled chow chow to the mix, said in step 1. Cook for 5 min in medium flame. Then add grated coconut.
  3. Cook it in medium flame for 2 more minutes. Now it's ready to serve. You can have this with rice, chapati, roti.
